"The artist: Dancoyote Antonulli

Over the years, more than a few residents have experimented with Second
Life as an artistic medium, through sculptures and interactive
installations: AngryBeth Shortbread, Arahan Claveau, Nylon Pinkey,
Stella Costello, and the Port collective spring immediately to mind. In
mid to late 2006, there's seemingly been a mini Renaissance of artists
entering the field, many of them established professionals from other
media. Among them is Dancoyote Antonelli, a real-life artist who created
SL's Musem of Hyperformalism. dancoyote's artwork pushes the boundaries
of Second Life, exploring both interactive artwork and live performance,
mostespecially with a widely praised performance that combines flying
dance animations, music, and particle effects (think Cirque du Soleil
but more psychedelic). Many believe Antonelli has created a
breakthrought that establishes Second Life as new form for artists; in
any case, his works are sure to inspire even more aesthetic milestones
in the metaverse."
