[iDC] introduction

Hello everbody!

I've just become aware of this list and accepted an invitation to
join, though I'm not too certain yet what's going on hereabouts or who
else is in the neighborhood.

Because of the timing, I suspect that the invitation was related to
this acrostic, which I recently wrote:

I'm looking forward to the possibility of stirring up some trouble.
