[Thing.net-support] statement regarding "your mailbox has been deactivated"

dear thing.net users,

we got some support questions today regarding an email claiming
to be from the account support at thing with the subject
"your mailbox has been deactivated"
this was / is  "just" an phishing attack

please DO NOT RESPOND to the email: just ignore and delete it.
NEVER respond to any email of this type or open any attachments it may
contain, no matter how genuine it may look as it is
CERTAINLY fraudulent
