ahem, i wish i had made the same terms of service that governed
participation in rhizome. mark tribe now owns every intellectual and
artistic new media fart ever published by them. can't wait to see some
of it show up on a kellogg's ceral box... but that would still be small
change compared to what alberich, lord of the internet rings, is doing:

now that guy... don't get me started, i might piss off caspar again and
he has to screen some videos tonight at white slab. i usually don't
care much for maureen dowd, but here she's written a fine piece for a
change.
your intellectual property is save, i have thrown it back into the rhine
and it is carefully watched over by the rhine maidens. soon enough the
curtain will lift and the treasure will be visible again for the whole
world to see and remain accessible for scholarly delectation.
as a special privilege for the distinguished members of the list,

as soon as walter gets to set up the helix server, so the videos and
audio stuff works again, we will open it to the public.

look, you really don't want to get all the spam that is posted to the
list. i am basically a janitor. it's better this way, believe me. if
you want it the other way, there sill is the 7/11 list.
ooops, no, it's up for sale: http://www.7-11.org/
oh well... i guess times change after all.
