Novichok Gallery is pleased to announce Garaventa, an exhibition by Giacomo
Porfiri and Franziska Wagner.

Sharing a passion for complicating their lives, Giacomo Porfiri and Franziska
Wagner create garments and environments as part of an effort to imagine
alternatives to an increasingly boring consumer culture.

Autarky, exchange, exploration and curiosity are the values Garaventa espouses.

Garaventa takes its name from an old story of a boat in Genoa's harbor, which
served as a juvenile detention center.  In local lore, difficult children were
told to behave or else they would be sent to the Garaventa. 

On Friday, May 4th, 2018, 7 PM - 10 PM, join artists Giacomo Porfiri and
Franziska Wagner as well as curator Arto Ushan for the opening of the
exhibition at the Novichok Gallery in Pankstrasse 45, 13357 Berlin.
